Due to a lot of rained out games and school holidays there were only a few games played this weekend. Casino Cobras started their weekend games with the Second Division Women taking on Lismore Workers at Casino on Friday Night. It was cold and wet but our girls did us proud defeating Lismore Workers 6-0. Goals were scored by Tiaharna Close (3), Abby Hughes(1), Renne Monck (1) and Jamie-lee Owens (1). The Women are doing magnificently this year and it was great see a good size crowd there to cheer them on.

Casino Cobras 1st Division and 1st Reserves are off to Kyogle to play this Saturday. 1st Reserves play at 1pm, followed by 1st Division at 3pm. After having this weekend off with a bye they should be freshened up and ready for a big game. Good luck. The 2nd Division team are playing Goonellabah FC (3pm), 4th Division come up against Pottsville (1pm) and 5th Division are to play Tintenbar- East Ballina at 1pm. On Sunday, our 2nd Division Women are off on a road trip to Bangalow to play at 12.30pm.
The competitive has resumed for our Juniors – Competitive sides so please check your draws. There is no soccer for non- competitive Juniors this Saturday, so enjoy your holidays. Any 5 - 10 years old players, who are wanting to play in the up and coming Carnivals at Lismore Thistles and Alstonville, need to have your names in ASAP so you don't miss out. Contact Mel Buckley.
